A quick thread to see what everyone has in the freezer for bait, with the good seas & tides forcast, along with the up & coming winter, what baits have you got ?
frozen peeler crab, runnydown, razor, squid, prawns ! what else ??????
I will be having a run over to china town next week to stock up on the razor & squid, also looking to get a good supply of mussle, with the big tides coming looking for a location to get my own.

dont really need much plenty crab in freezer that i dont bother with for winter dont rate it as long as i have a fresh dug supply of worm blacks yellows any lug or ragworm best bait going imo for winter months

I've got, frozen peeler, runny down, squid, razor and going to make up some crab cart sausages to try. But as others say you can't beat fresh bait....:)

150 mackerel, 250 crab, 100ish runnydown, 12 bags of razer and 40 launce.

Mainly used on the boat apart from abit crab and the runny down.

Nothing at the moment.
Want some squid, runnydown, mussel and razor but don't fancy going into town.
Might have a look at North Shields fish quay

250 separate peeler.
purely because they are very hard to get in winter, the rest of the baits are ready available (bar whites:p)

Getting to Wing Hong is okay with it not being in the town centre, just follow the West Walls signs once you come down Westgate road, I normally just park on the double yellows outside with the motor running and my lass in the car saying I've gone in to get change for the meters ;) In and out in a minute.

well worth it if you do much cooking, loads of herbs and spices cheap, get litre bottles of soy sauce for less than a tiny bottle from the supermarkets etc. If you're into Indian food try Naji's on the top of the hill just before you hit actual westgate - massive bags of spices dirt cheap.
