Frozen Blacks

Got some frozen blacks from last year, anyone know if its any good for the river Tyne at the minute. Cheers

crabs are a must for the river this time of year. when it starts getting colder i have had plenty of success on them though.

This time last year I had plenty of codling from the Walkway on frozen Blacks either plain or tipped off with mussel. Yes usually you will catch more with crab but not always and if you don't have any the Blacks will still get you fish.

last few days ive been down the walkway ( not fishing) and a lot of people catching on worm tipped with macky
