Have also refroze runny many times in the past and never had a problem with it breaking up.

Normally only do this about 3 times max though and then chuck it.

do the runny down all the time also if i have lugworm left i even freeze those down just gut them, into newspaper then freeze works a treat for tipping off and for wrapping into big baits.........

if im not sure if something will hold together after ive froze it i stuff it into squid then tie it up with bait elastic ,that way if it turns to gunk it leeches out of the squid in the water

fine to refreeze runnydown,just tie it into a ball with crab.had nearly all my fish on it this year.
