broke 2 of the guides on my sonik rod (sk3) was wondering how much it would cost to replace them all with fuji ones and whether it would actually be worth it. where would the best place to get this done and are the alconite better than the luminous guides. i think thats all. lol.

depends how u got it broke mate...and if its under warranty....it all depends...most tackle shops will do the repairs for u .. ur in wallsend ...not exactly the sticks mate...hope u get it sorted bud...

stick with the alconites they are top quality guides, iv never broke a 1 yet not sure how they would cope on the rough stuff but sure theyd be fine. the new fuji bnhgs are rubbish in my opinion iv broke 2 of them while casting, wont be using them again unless they get made like the old 1s were. the fuji bnogs are ok rings and so are zircons but for me alconites all the way lighter the better :D will be giving the minima 4 rings a shot this winter see how they do.

like gary says they are not as good as the old 1,s but the alconites are expensive £40 for a full set the bhngs are half that depends on your budget plus with rods getting slimmer the alconites look better on the rod not as bulky

your right micke those mimmas are spot on as more builders use them i think they will go up in price thier is nothing to them either the tourny lads love them for casting nice build by the way unusual colours but really nice have you seen some of the flourecent threads wow!!! they are bright i wonder who,s going to be daring and have some of those colours on thier rods

them guides look spot on just like dyamite tip ring no worrys of inner rings popping out i defo be having some of them on a new rod build ;)
