Garden birds

Have had a pair of Siskins coming into the garden feeders regularly lately. They are particularly timid and I stood about 8ft away the other week when other birds would have fled. Managed to get the camera on them this afternoon but going to try and get some sharper shots.

Gorgeous! Birds are my other obsession along with fishing! I look after injured birds and rehabilitate them. These pics are great, siskins are lovely wee birds. Would love to see more pics from you of birds.

Excellent pics, our song birds in the garden are thriving now most of the magpies have been shot or trapped.

Toppas them mate. They are lovely little birds siskins. I had a pair of great tits in my nest box this year. It was great sitting in the garden watching them play in the tree. Then I noticed the horrible magpies trying to get them. I don't think they did mind but I'm going to buy an air rifle for next year and sit on guard duty.

they are top of the tree when it comes to singing :red:new lads a lot of years ago tried trapping them because of this best garden bird for colour got to be goldfinch for stunning colour away from houses bullfinch for me :red:
