well had a look at the water this morning and it looked a good day for boat fishing so off i went at 12 for a few hours fishing off at sunderland we tried all sorts of baits inshore and offshore (even tried amongst some gulls diving at bait fish) but not even 1 fish turned up between 5 rods to top the day off i broke my prop on the way back in so i as a happy chappy then as i was passing the rat house some little f**ing chava decided to cast a lead in my direction just missing my boat by 1 foot he is lucky that i couldnt gain access to him easy or i would be down the cop shop for asault well atleast we gave it a try hopefully the fish start shownin soon

cheers dean

Aye mate, same here ... hard day today, just no interest from the fish. Still, its good to get out and prepare for the good days ahead.

Didnt realise you had a boat Deano, at least you tried m8, i'm giving it a couple of hours to see if the wind drops a bit then hopefully going out for a few hours and drown some worms  Is the prop repairable ?

yeah i think its the same problem i had last time (the bush is slipping) as can only reach 12knts then it just over revs i have had a boat for about 7 years now there is a few pics of it in the identify your craft section in here that wind seems to be pickin up alot more now good luck if you get out mate hope you catch a few

Good boat the seahog m8, like the name as well, gave it up today would be blown all over trying to uptide, so went shopping instead:(. Are you not a member of seaham boat club, the ramps been improved i hear.

im not a member of seaham boat club yet mate a few of my mates are they said the ramp has been improved (made longer) so you can launch and retrive pratically any state of tide how ever they said it has made it alot harder to retrive you boat because of the strong currents im going to stick with the town for this year and see what happens

Always was bad when there was a swell running my old searider rib had some bad knocks on the trailer at seaham, sunderland is a much more boat friendly ramp, put a post on next time ur out and i'll keep an eye out for ya....hope you get the prop sorted......

will do mate ill sort a few wrecks out for ya aswell i have over 100 stored :) just looked at getting the prop rebushed its gonna cost £38 plus postage so its not all bad :)
