Totally agree... you have to applaude what they are doing, and i bet anyone who has been pulled from the drink, by them, no matter how chaotic, would be glad they were there.
The Boss does need a bit more tact, and man management skills, but you don't know how the editor is portraying him in the cut.
The worry is , it is a hatchet job, AKA jerry springer/ jeremy 'Talentless **** Kyle', portraying good NE folk in a bad light.
My opinion, for what it is worth, is that what they do is good, and that should not be forgotten, or lost satisfying cheap shot television.

I watched the first program, and I must admit I cringed a bit. However I can't be too critical about these lads. Let's not forget : they're VOLUNTEERS. They don't get paid, and from my own point of view, I would rather have help of any sort, rather than none, should I get into difficulties out at sea.
If they were paid professionals, then maybe harsh criticism would be justified. However they would then receive far better and more intense training than they probably get as volunteers.
