Just got the bug back after about a 15 yr gap and chipping away building gear up and educating myself via fishing magazines but you can't beat hearing from on the ground. None of my mates have any interest in fishing other than when I catch something and want fed! Anyway is there any clubs that exist as would love just to get out with some like minded lads for bit of fishing and pick up tips and improve confidence again. Lost plot on any decent marks so joining up with group would be good. Don't think I want to go down road of competitions etc??

Aright seaham pier fishes best on a flooding tideup to high water on a big tide m8,but on small tides the last half of the ebb can produce some good bags of fish .best fished strait after an easterly blow in the winter months the odd double figure is not unusual from this mark
