Getting ready for the wrecking to start

Mad as a fish

Well-known member
In anticipation of a good season on my mates boat this year I am starting to sort out my boat fishing tackle well in advance this year.
I intend to try the Jaffa tape on some perks and these king rainbow daylights what my mate makes.
What do you lads think, would they do the business and catch me some good fish this year.
What will you all be using at the start of this season? apart from the bog handles and other bits and bobs out of the wifes kitchen:eek:
Wishing you all a great season full of fish :D

Definitely going to be a shad year for me - I tried it late last year and think I quite prefer it over jigging / pirking. In fact I've never caught a fish on a pirk, apart from a foul hooked Mackerel or two, BUT, I have just invested in some Jaffa tape... ;)

I also think I'll be trying the orange peel too, why not, I've tried WD40, honey, sausagemeat, etc. before in my shore fishing days! :red:

All the best

Steve
