Glasgow Angling Centre

Has anyone bought anything from here? I placed an order at the beginning of the week and havent recieved anything yet, although i dont have much patience and didnt pay for next day delivery.
Can anyone recommend any socks for fishing, my feet are getting cold whenever i go out now.

Try the Army stores for socks just got some more today.
Also have a look at some of the boots that have thermal liners inside, they keep your feet like toast mate.

I have heard nothing but bad reports about Glasgow Angling centre. Slow delivery times, wrong items sent and refusing to give refunds....only credit notes.

Can\'t beat the neoprene socks but make sure your boot size is bigger than you require as they tend to be a good bit thicker than ordinary socks.

watch what you buy as well, they sell a lot of copies, better to keep away. get a pair of the neoprene socks as fifer says, they are good.

When I 1st got into this fishing lark, I got quite a bit of my gear from Glasgow Angling Centre. Couldn\'t fault their service.......infact there was one time I\'d ordered a couple of waterproof thermal suits from them - sent off my order enclosing the cheque on the Monday and they were delivered on the Thursday - at about 8:00pm. The delivery guy had travelled down from Glasgow with them and was heading straight back. Service like that - you just can\'t fault.

Bought a few items off this company,did\'nt ask for next day delivery but it was here the next morning,items were what I requested and seemed very helpful when I phoned them,I have\'nt bought anything recently though but the place where we stay for our holidays buys alot of Fly fishing kit off them and they cant fault them either

I got my stuff today, everythig as i ordered. I\'m going to have to send 1 thing back, a ron thompson reel seat. I ordered the 26mm seat but it\'s too small even though my rod is 26mm. Other than that problem i\'m happy with the service

I bought Ron Thomson rockboots from them, they were a bit slow on the delivery, but not too bad, the boots are CRAP!!!
but thats the boots, not GACs fault.

cant reallyv fault them mate.
