going to craster

Driving from Howick to Craster on the coast road theres a layby as I recall just before the road bends away from the coast. You can park there, theres a way through the hedge and you just walk north on the coastal path. Can't miss it. You can actually see cars parked on it on that map if you zoom in. Cullernose is a deep mark but I hear it looks better than it is ? Hopefully some lads with more experience up there might respond. But its a good starting point. When I fished Cullernose I found it pretty clean ground but I hear all the other marks up there are very heavy. Strong gear and rotten bottoms job. Good luck mate, let us know how you get on.

PS Crab would be best bet for bait, mebbe lug and mussel if you don't have that. But me I wouldn't go without crab. Again there will be lads on here who know much more about it, but I hope this info is of some use.

Careful with the Cart mate, it's banned North of the Tyne I hear. I don't know how they police that but apparently a dim view is taken if you are caught fishing with it.
