It'll catch mackerel , coalies , pollock , ling and kerd ...... I hope one of them is a beastie . Dosn't seem to matter what size lure you use the 3lb cod still eat it , I caughtv a mackerel the other day on a whacking great pirk , the wole of the treble inside it's mouth , how it managed to get it in there is beyond me
