Rubbish title but i couldn't think of a better one.
Just been told for fathers day that the kids, kids there both in their 20s,they want to club together and pay for a boat trip out.
Looking for some pointers towards boats.
I live in Blyth and have some gear that might be ok for a boat trip, but the rod is pretty old.
Been out before but not for a long time.
Any advice on costs and who to look at skipper wise.
Cheers.

Was out on the "Danse De Leu" out of Blyth on the 11th june got some great fish even if the sea wasnt great (got a bit lumpy). This guy is very helpful for anyone that is new to "Boat fishing". Also a Toilet beats Alot of other boats around at the moment :o

Silverline Marine Charters, Blyth.

You prob seen me then as he was just starting his drift on a wreck as i was plotting my next wreck and leaving it.

Both of the above from the Tyne do well year in year out and for £35 or so its a full day out, think both have gear on board but best check with Mistress first.

In my opinion June in past years used to be the best month for boat fishing, never done as well in July then August picks us well and September canny for the ling but the cod seem to dry up (From my records anyway)

Often mid week spaces but the weekend spts get taken up quick so best to book in advance if you can and have fingers crossed for the weather.

Both the Tyne boats birthed at the Royal Quays so if your passing that way after 5.30pm you should be albe to see them tied up.

The Mistress also does evening "mackeral" trips for a few hours if you wanted to try that first. Not sure on the price, it was £15 last year. Book through Billy's shop.
