left sunderland at 9;30am [slept in ] anway the water was cracking with just a little bit motion on the water we headed to our first wreck and first drop down 3 of us where straight into fish that turned out to be two 5lb cod and a 3lb cod great i thought we are gonna have a good day then next drift i hit into a fish that was a bit bigger 10lb couldnt belive it after a few more drifts on the wreck things went quiet so decided to move into a bit deeper water first drop again hit into a decent fish that was about 13lb cod still shaking with excitement droped straight back down and the rod buckled again felt like an express train after a long reel up got it on the top a prime 16lb cod the next drop (my this time my arm was hurting lol] pulled up a 7lb ling then everything went dead so we headed back in at 2:30 will post pics after i have had fish and chips :D

my total for the day was
4 cod biggest 16lb
1 ling 7lb
and about 5 macky

the days total was 6 cod
3 ling biggest 9lb

Nice one Dean. A 16lb cod is a good size nowadays. Hope that wasnt your super kenzaki laid on the deck in the photo.

Well done.

To be honest I am not known for keeping my gear in tip top condition. My kit thrives on neglect.
