good fish last night

Rovered about on my usual marks trying to find the fish last night coz they were not there in numbers and not many people bagging up.

Already managed one in the 3 to 4 pound stamp on a deep water mark about 10pm start of flood but apart from that nowt. Onto another shot nowt. Another shout nowt again then another. This last mark appeared to be the same .just no bites .i did have a small tap one cast thought nowt of it. Eventually reeled it in but boy it was heavy. Thought bugger got a load of weed. Turned out it was a cod of 8lb. Get in ha. Only had enough bait for one more chuck.hooked into another one. Stayed in a snag this time though..... and that was it out of bait. Nice surprise fish for so early on in season. Thats been the going this season so far for me. Just odd guddins
