Good idea?......Bad idea?

Well, haven't wet a line since August but have the chance to come home for a couple of days between Xmas and the New Year. Rod's got a few days off so, as luck would have it, when the Swallow Hotel sent me through the offer of 3 nIghts BB&D FOR £99 I jumped at it, so I'll be up on Sunday until Tuesday.

I then looked at the tides - low tide about 5,6,7 o'clock so dark for getting worm morning and night and they're small tides anyway. Luckily Rod has been able to order some from Lewis' so we're ready for the off.

Then I thought......low tide 6 o'clock in the morning...........if I'm fishing when will I get breakfast?

Then I thought......low tide 6 o'clock at night............if I'm fishing when will I get my dinner?

Hope they're good at sandwiches lol.

Will be on the rock ends so hope to see some of you out and about. If I don't have a good Christmas and a happy New Year.

well at least you'll have some decent weather for it David. Seas are forecast slight so you can get amongst the kelp at Cullercoats!

Hope to fish morning and night tides Marty and if it is westerly with a bit of lump on the Lobster Pots might get a mention. Look forward to getting cold if nothing else. Seems forever since I've been down.
