Good night on the Pilot

Got down the Pilot pier at about 7:30 last night, thought i would be late for any action seeing that the tide was on the way back out, but it didn't turn out too bad. everyone started to leave about 8 and by 9:30 there was only me and this other guy who had 3 nice whitie's in his bag. Up till then i had nothing on my rag but when the guy was going he gave me a mackie and some squid. I put a slice of mackie on and bang, bites all the time. Finally landed 6 before i rapped at midnight (rocks were a pain in the backside and i lost a couple on them).
I will now try and put a picture on of my best 2.

The Pilot pier is down on the headland @ Hartlepool Tony.

I called down there yesterday morning on the way to buy my bait from John's and there was a bloke who had two small coddies and he had been there about 2 hours.
