In terms of catching fish regularly - I've had an OK season.

In terms of learning and enjoyment - pretty good one!

good season all in all, allways good craic with the lads and lasses when i get out and when i catch its a bonus. my season was made up by catching my personal best fish. the funny thing is though my season never seems to end it just drifts into the next one.

Thats a brilliant way of putting mate....

the reason i say it is most of us up here target cod, and if you know where to fish and in what conditions the seasons seem to just drift along at a nice pace with fish being caught all year. the fresh water fishing you have a rod licence and there is a begining and end to a season set in dates. its great having no set dates for sea fishing pick your rod up grab some bait and off you trot. i love itand every trip is another bit of knowledge.
