Have you been out in the past week??
I was off all last week but those E-SEly\'s never really came to out did they , I only went out once & fished Kettleness on Tuesady night but never had a sniff . Wish I off was this week instead !! :casstet:
What\'s things looking like , thinking of maybe going down to Saltburn tonight or tomorrow for a few hours ?

i went the other night for a few hous ,got hail stones in my ear to prove it ,fishing has picked up with loads of whiteys showing ,managed a couple of small codling from the ledge at sandsend , my mate had a few from the nab at staithes ,same size ,but by all accounts there are some big uns about ,there was a 9+ pounder in the saltburn comp last week ,heaviest bag was 30lb
if your down tomorrow ,i may pop down there for a chat

not just me then ,mate fished kettleness last night same story ,there was about 12 fellas there ,only 2 fish caught, mops .dont use those new velvets though ,we have used them on one rod and so far nothing at all,im convinced that there is no scent to them ,they seem really watery too and at a quid a crab ,not really worth it.gimme a good black lug and mussel anyday.
