Goverment to sell off the air sea rescue

Just been on the news the goverment is scrap the air sea rescue as we know it to save money just how low will they go to save in real terms not a lot of money coastguard stations to shut this is there alternative.

You are spot on mate......it's a disgrace what the government are proposing to do and I will give my vote and demonstrate against this crazy bill.

But also,I'm not bothered which party said what and who was in power that suggested this all.

This post seems to have run away from the point you are making and gone all political between which party did this and did the other that's not the point.

We as sea going people need to do more than just sigh a petition we need to demonstrate our disapproval against this bill in some other way,but well done on what you are doing to date.
