First time I've been out for a while due to work commitments. But when I seen the forecast for Wednesday, I thought sod work and just go for it. Got out of cullercoats about 1.45 into a pretty calm sea. Plan was just to fish the hard ground and plan worked out. Picked up 9 codling all good size, biggest was 5lb. All fish caught on pirks and muppets. sun blazing and sea flattened right off later on, a cracking day to be on the water. Might try again Sunday morning if the weather holds, before the normal weather returns. Never noticed when took photo but something took one hell of a chunk out of one of them.
