I got a 2nd hand sonik sk3 a few months ago. Second trip out the wind blew me stand over and had all but two rings shatter
Anyway, I asked at a local shop what they reckon, I wont say exactly what he said!!! but basically didnt want the business to re-ring the rod
So I thought i'd try sonik themselves, spoke on the phone, guy was quite helpful and asked me to take the rod in.
outcome, for £40 he is giving me a NEW tip section, and is putting a new ring on the butt section.
Not bad considering I didnt get the rod from them, and the fact that the damage was my fault really.
