Fishermen are very rarely occupied solely with one creative outlet...I play the guitar also...

Anyone else out there play? what kind of level are you? I can fingerpick and strum and bash out a few tunes

aint very musical apart from singing in the bath,but if i aint boat fishing im coarse fishing and if i aint coarse fishing im fly fishing

I can play the Didgeridoo






for about four seconds until I go blue and my head turns inside out
Also Jaws Harp but I find them a bit heavy to carry between gigs and they take the paint off your teeth. Also good on The Fiddle and can act The Goat - the usual stuff

Like Wallsendo I can pick my fingers and have been known to "bash one out" during Hollyoaks

Regarding level I'm probably on a par

HAHAHA you've got me there Ell ,I remember a training type thingy with Rolfe Harris on how to sustain didgerydoo malarky ,keep air in ya cheeks between breaths `,I tried it , boy how bad did I feel lol

I often whip out me didge when the kids have got friends round to stay (PACK IT IN ) and give it a blow. I do a couple of dingo cries and everyone starts to think "This idiot can play the big hollow stick" then I go blue and my head turns inside out - people start crying and everything, Lesley keeps hiding it but it's ten foot long so normally easy to find (Bottom drawer of the freezer - or under her tongue!)

Come to mention it mate ......and sorry to everyone coz this is boring ....... we've all got a few now as the company gets money out of it .
The trainer was a bit suprised when he realised I got more qualifications than him by the time I was 18 lol ,anyway it's simply a money making racket for the company .

My next one lasts three hours on a Saturday morning ,entitled " time management and waste reduction " ,funilly enough I saved the company 15,000 a year by applying the same theory that they are about to patronise me with ... sorry I mean teach and it was far more involved that a few hours lol ,try six months ,
