Gumbet, Turkey...

Heading there a week on Monday for a fortnight. When our lass is lying sunbathing 8hrs a day, Im gonna find a little jetty somewhere or a rock and wet a line. Has anybody ever Fished in this part of the world before ? Any tips for me...
Also can anyone point me in the right direction of a Rod I could get in My case ? Mabye someone has one for sale ?
And ive heard there is a " TURKISH WEAVER " swimming around over there, so if anyone could help Me identify the little bugger.....

Alreet steve I was there couple yrs back loads of mullet around the rocks on the float take some small lures for the beach loads fish dont know what there called but watch your hands some prickly buggers amongs them mind I ended up with hand swolen up for 2 days but nice looking things some canny spots at other end Bodrum you will love it M8 have a good time
