took my 6 yr old fishing for his first time wasnt sure if he was going
to enjoy himself or get bored.so decided to fish locally at the paint works behind heworth metro.has been awhile since i have fished down there but somethings dont change, line and crap everywhere.got dropped off and rods set up and out they went.didnt wait long for the first bite and of course
it was the young uns rod.result 1 small coddy:):).back out it went to my horror wasnt out long when he gets another small coddy:).then my turn managed to get 2 small uns just before we packed up :Dso it was a draw now hes hooked wants to know when he can go next:D
bait used rag/lug

nice one rustik, i work at the vauxhall garage on the by pass and often have a run down on a dinner break, usually just go down next to the schooner pub just to see if owt getting caught, saw a few lads pulling eels in last year, tidy enough aswell and you can fish from your car. Tell your boy well done, its great when you see the smile on theyre face!

yeah he really enjoyed himself.i used to fish to the right of the schooner,
there used to be a little hut down from the boats that u could fish from had railings around but dont know if its still fishable cheers rustik

You will get no peace now Rustik, but he is hooked and will only get better the more he fishes. well done on catching a couple. :)
