Well it is all down hill after today with this being the longest day and the run down to the winter, i have been thinking since May the 1st was the run down to winter and so has the weather.

So a nice happy post to keep everyones spirits up :)

Aye Richy, i was on the way to the boat yesterday morning when they mentioned it on the radio, dark nights creeping in :o, put a bit of a downer on things :(. With the weather bieng rubbish on the weekends i think we need to get some evening trips in, to make paying the marina fees worthwhile.

£2000 marina fees / 8 trips out = £250 a trip...

£1300 for 14 trips =£93 so alittle better, it wont be long before we are told its going to be an "Indian Summer" to get people buying summer things again.

15 more weeks left of wreck fishing then its the long winter wait for 2012....yep am in a happy go lucky mood this month, full of good news :)

I will miss 1 week of that with boat service, 2 weeks of that with holidays so 13 weeks to aim for, may get a full weekend in fishing before the end of the year because as of April not had 2 days in a row due to wind or sea sate.

Funny you should mention that Richy , I was just wondering this morning what all the boaty lads were looking forward to getting for Christmas
Still plety of long days and warm ones to come , we are just having a proper year this year where summer comes in July and August......... I hope!
