Hard going on the beach

Had a dodge out at 12:30 last night and fished local from 1 till 4. There was a very big sea running and the south easterly was getting stronger and stronger so it was tough going. After reasonable water for the first hour the weed and crap moved in and it got harder and harder to fish. I managed only the one decent one out before being weeded off - weighed at 6 and a quarter on the beach and 6.15 at home when the sand was cleaned off.
