Hard going

had a few hours out last night but only managed 2 size fish both on my first 2 casts pretty poor after that only picking up small whity's, the codling was just over 2 and half pound and the whity was a nice size weighing 1pound 6 the whity was full of roe aswell gonna try it for my tea later.

Whiting roe is class. Boil in salted water for about 3 minutes, a bit pepper and vinegar, lush!!

just had it in a sarnie and it was quite tasty and the whity roe actually tasted better than the cod.
