Well I was toyin with the idea of putting my shore gear away till next season but couldn't end on a blank so headed out last night it was a touch on the cold side but did manage one out and pic in the snow 2lb 15oz.
Well thats me this shore season 62 cod and would just like to say thanks for all the great comments about the reports cheers lads

Well done there mate, but why pack up so early, just when the fishing's improving? In our Whitley match last night the winning bag was 11 fish for nearly 24lb from Blyth Beach, I think the Sluice match was won from there as well with a bag that included fish to nearly 6lb, & my mate Dave Milne had one from Slatey Gut 11lb 1oz to take the heaviest fish of the night - here's a rather crummy shot from my phone (apologies,1st time I've tried to take a photo with it!)

Still plenty of time to catch some good fish yet!! Go on, get back out - you know you want to

Totally agree with you there Gary. Still a good few weeks of pig hunting ahead (if you can get out ) yet Ivan, dont put the gear away yet.
