Out of interest what are the specs of this rod?

14ft in length 23mm butt diameter 2 equal sections and as stiff as a pole J curve.

Is the Q3 much different to this? How stiff is the Q3? Lovely looking rod this

q3 is more user friendly slightyl slimmer /lighter and easier to bend but with very fast recovery when casting.

i had the prototype q3 and when i used it for fishing it was brilliant with 6 ounces of lead plus bait.

if they have recently the the p3 and q3 that i used up here a while back i dont know .i think not sure though reelsport sells these rods now terry may be able to give first hand info now,

The p3 is defo not a c curve the q3 is c curve the p3 is animal of a rod compared to the q3 if you can get into the butt which most average anglers cannot but has a lovely fishing tip the newer p &q.s are lighter than the old 1,s but still the same characteristics as theyhave been altering the resin and carbon contents hope this helps
