Had a little competition in hartlepool last night with me old man. was a point for first fish. biggest fish and most fish. after he reeled in his first coaly arond a pound he took the lead. after a fish almost every cast through out the night i claimed a 2-1 win with the biggest fish a codlin around a pound and half and the most finishing with 6 codlin and a rockling. father cod head finished with 2 coaly 2 codlin and a rockling. not big fish by all means apart from the one sized codlin i pulled in. but a great bit of sport. and a 2-1 win. all fish were taken on a 1 up 1 down on both hooks. and had an appetite for ragworm and bluey cocktails
