Fished Hartlepool today with my older brother Chris on the Evelyn Jane. Pushed off at 7.45 but came in a bit earlier due to a strong south easterly wind. Slow sport all day , fished a few wrecks with only maybe a dozen cod on the boat caught , biggest of 8.5lb. Only 1 macky all day between 9 anglers, few small whiting, pouting and 1 wrasse caught off rocky ground close. 2 seals pulled off a couple of nicer fish half way up.Tried all baits , frozen macky , blueys, prawns blacks and squid. I ended up with biggest of 3lb and smaller ones and a pouting but slow going all day. My first report for years , good luck
