Hello lads, went down the pool today. Tried the beaches for Bass but the beakers were just to heavy.
Went round to the Heugh and caught about dozen whities and all good sizes.gave the biggest to some kids and the smaller went back.
Mackeral was bait of the day and a young lad was kind enough to let me have some.
All in all a good day. Once or twice thought i had half decent cod on but turned out to be two whities.
I also had success with the penn mag and the Suveron.
Comparing it to my old 7000 its bit like a Landrover versing a ferrari.
A good reliable solid workhorse against a tempremental speed machine.
