Had some bait in the freezer and a few hours spare, it was a toss up between a few beers or a few hours fishing the tide up on the beach, i Havent done much beach fishing in the last few weeks so was eager to get down, fished 2 hours up and an hour over high water, had my waders on so i was hitting easy 110 yards on a big cast, finally had my first bite on the last cast which was a thumper, reeled in tight and hit it, the thing weighed a ton untill it got to my feet and fell off...a nice bass of all fish to lose at your feet, should have just went for a few beers. the flattys werent even playing ball last night either to my surprise. but a nice pleasant evening with the old man and a nice night.
