haven 21st march blanked bloody (porpois)

after setting up. first few cast couple of knocks then porpois reared its head so after a further hour without nothing else decided to pack in as it was just swimming up an doon the bay. next day fished peters basin blankede so roll on the mackeral lol

I'd be happy just seeing the porpois that close in the bay than catching.

weve had them [ sometimes 6] off the end of the heugh [hartlepool], nearly every day right through the winter. sometimes only yards from the pier. they havnt effected catches.

my thinking is they are there because theres fish there.

but.... obviously not in your case.
