Haven 8/1/15

Had a short session Tonyt fished from ten till 12 managed 2 pull out one codling of 2.5lb, heard there was nowt doing on the north pier so thought I would try on the rocks, wind was leathal lifting my box and rod stand so called it a night. Better than a blank as the sayn goes

Well done mate, I was out for a couple of hours yesterday in the Tyne and managed a couple out. Still fish about but the wind was a pain.... Got worse last night so take my hat off to you!

Aye, well done on a catch in such conditions.

Its only been a couple weeks but feels like ages since I was last out and looking at the forcast the winds arnt going to get any better…if only they were coming in a different direction.
I’m sure come summer time and I want to get out on the boat the northerlys will arrive!
