fished hebburn marina last night for 1st of the flood, south corner only me and a m8 on, once tide started flooding properly 1 small undersize codling and crab after crab, but we persisted and a few chucks l8r i latched into a nice plump codling just under 7 pound, took sum getting in as it took me into a snag about 15yrds out,old mooring or summit, took about 15-20 mins but i got it. Was the only size fish on the night but well worth it. Bait used was lug,rag and mussel.

Tony,i left the pier about 7.30 the waves were crashing in then,did you stay on much longer paul.
