Spur of moment thing, only bait could get hold of was Rag and Frozen Crab... Fished the right hand side. Loadsa knocks but nearly all due to the amount of weed in their!!!! There was also alot of flood water in, the water looked red... Only managed 1 Flatty (small)...

Flippin heck mate me and peeagee were just up river a bit from you at the quay. Once the flood stopped it became totally unfishable with all the debris etc. coming down, turned into a practice chucking sesh for us. Well done on yer catch mate, one more than both of us using fresh crab.

one of the reasons i havent bothered with the river this past 2 weeks.had enough of floating trees to last awhile.

I definitely not the best fishing conditions! I'll be down Shields Pier at weekend to try My Luck!

I caught a tree at Church Bank on Saturday. Blanked as well, so not a good session at all.The tide absolutely ripped out and took everything with it.
