hebburn marina

With the sea being flat decided to fish the river for a bit sport and me and me brother decided to give hebburn mariner a bash. Got there about 7pm ish set up near launch ramp and it was a tommy a cast till about 10pm then a gets a better rattle which resulted in a 45cm codling pretty thin but probly 2 lb then 2 casts later rod went mental thought a need to get it to ramp as a was only using 1 0 hooks so jumped down of f wooden decking and walked the fish to the side and landed it on the ramp measured 47 cm but alot fatter estimate just under 3lb felt bigger in the tide but still a good nights fishing bloody cold though the ragworm was nearly frozen wen left at 11pm all fish fell to rag worm got pics but takes to long for me to put them up

Good session there mate, Hebburn Marina is an underrated spot in my opinion. I was down there yesterday getting some casting practice in, should have chucked a bait in as well by the look of it.

nice one mate I fished st peters on sun had one about 2.5lb on crab still few in middle parts of river it seems

Nice one Peter, ain't fished the marina in ages which is a pity as its only down the road from mine!
