Hebburn Tyne 10/06/12

Fished the Tyne today for a few hours with Redeyecodwarrior and a mate. We caught 3 codling, 4 eels and 9 flounder. Not bad at all and a damn good laugh. All caught on rag and lug. A few pics to follow.

I mate had a good day,apart from the police helicopter deafening us for an hour coz a the. Clown with the air rifle: happy with the days fishing managed four fish myself including the biggest codling,the double sided flattie,and two eels,was havoc at times all rods showing some kind of fishy interest,lost a few and didnt connect with loads,all in all a cracking day just on our doorstep all caught on runny down or rag cocktail

Just go down to the marina (at the end of prince consort road) and keep going along past where the boats are moored until you get to the end, there's a barrier there now so it's on foot after that but only about 3 hundred yards and yer there
