hello the ne coast

im not from the ne so i hope you dont mind me using your forums ive had a look and got some good ideas of you people.im from the nw barrow in furness dont know if any of you know it. if not septembers sea angler did an artical on walney island that is right next to me and where i do alot of my cod fishing.was fishing of there last sunday bass are still about and caught a couple of whiting so the cod should be about soon

Hi Allan, welcome to NESA, I too am from the NW but you will soon feel at home here, they\'re a good bunch of lads (&lasses). I\'m a bit further South than you as I\'m in Southport. There\'s nothing catching here worth a mention yet. Keep posting, you never know I might get up your way if it gets good.

thanks for a warm welcome guys going fishing this weekend hopfully for some cod of foulney island.so ill let you know how i got on
