hi lads havnt been on for a while so nice to see the same names still posting.right lads what im after is a bit ov carp advice iv done it once last saterday at killingworth lake and liked it even though i got nowt :( .i fished using pva bags filled with halabut pellet and trout plellet and crushed up boilies and some hole boilies (i didnt use pop ups) the boilies were \"trigger ice\" boileis i no very very little about carp fishing as iv aways done sea fishing.Any tips on rigs and baits.Coments and advice on burradon and killingworth lakes would be most welcome,ie which parts to fish and how best to fish them,Im fishing burradon tuesday the 25th (today) hope you can help lads i need to bag my first carp :P . ps has any one got some cheep gear thay want to sell i need a rod pod 2 rods and bait runners a unhooking matt and bite alarms,I had to borrow the gear at the mo :D
 
hi darren mate ive done carp fishing for about 5 years , biggest 14 1\\2lb , my best way is using a method feeder , never ever had anything on boillies , my mate john has a bivey for sale £50 used twice , cost£100.......

Can\'t help you with waters in your area, but general advice would be to concentrate on locating the fish before getting too worried about baits and rigs. You could have the best bait presented superbly, but it won\'t catch if it\'s nowhere near any fish.
