i have got a mercury blueband 50hp outboard could any1 tell me wot year it is the serial number is 4414514 also i need 2 get a part think it is call the prop hub washer iv found these on the net but to make sure im gettin the rite 1 i need the number from the part as i have not got the 1 that was in it before hand any help would be appriciated many thanks ..........dave

not sure, but at guess 76 or 77, could be wrong though. merc's were made in a few differnt countrid and they all numbered them a bit differntly - is there a letter in front of the number, maybe a 'C'
Bill Higham Marine / Home Page probably your best bet, had piles of bluebands breaking for spares last time I was there. Give them a ring with the serial number and he should be able to confirm and maybe have the bits
