the bairn wants to do some boat fishing in the summer,can anyone give my some advise on which boats are the best for beginners to go on,thks

JFK or Mistress on will both help out with beginners.

Might be best to wait till the mackeral are in so they are sure to catch something to keep their interest.

I was going to say the same two Taffy. It might be better to take the bairn on just an evening trip for the first time in case of sea sickness or deep boredom lol. I know that Mistress do the shorter trips but there could be others too.

Yes we did mate but not a great deal doing, jamesb came with us for his first ever trip and showed us all up by catching the only fish. it happens almost every time lol and always good crack too

As stated above the Mistress maybe good if he not sure yet as they run short trips at a evening or at least did, they also have full days rough ground and wrecking as does the JFK, both these boats been on the Tyne a while and will catch you fish.

thks,like i said its the bairn thats up for it but he is nearly as big as me i will just have to put a brave face on for him,i am the one not keen on boats
