Had a few hours down at Hendon Prom tonight - It was pretty wild to say the least, when I first arrived ay about 2-30 ish there were a canny few rods out but by 4pm ish, most people had given up and moved off. Had difficulty holding bottom until another NESA member called Kevin came alongside and gave me a couple of better grippers than the ones I was using. We stopped there till about 6 ish then eventually gave up ourselves. Loads of weed and raw sewage - No fish. The craic was good though - Nice to meet you kev and cheers once again for the grippers mate. Just before we packed up a lad came along and told us about the incident at Horden Beach - Very sad news - Whenever you fish lads, look out for others alongside you. PLEASE take care and most importantly BE SAFE and give the SEA the respect it deserves.
