Got down for about 1.30 pm and fished third bay along. Nee snags but lost couple of rigs with the 15ft rod and braid set up. Think braid had wrapped itself around one of the eyes.
Only small stuff caught. I had couple of Flounders, 1 x Coalie, 1 x very small Codling. Bait used rag, couple of old blacks and couple of cut up mackerel fillets to tip off with.
Loads fishing so presuming pier was shut ??. Did not see or hear about anything decent caught. Left at 7pm-cheers to my mate Blackrat for giving me a couple of frozen peeler too.

Same scenario for me at Sandsend car park fished 3 till 8 about 15 rods out
Got 5 flatties the size of beer mats and a few whiteys all fish finger size
Didn't see one decent fish caught
disappointing night
