Hendon prom/beach low tide?

its all water m8 , i fished it once , the turning tide spoils it though , it washes in way too fast and your moving your gear back all the time , you'll need a good cast just to make some deepish water when the tide pushes you off..

Just fished it today at low tide for a couple of hours with not a bite. Water is not very deep at low tide, fishes better at high tide.

It fishes well at low water in the last 3 bays at the south end.Sometimes it fishes better around low than over high water if the conditions are right.
A medium sized tide with a south easterly sea is best, too much undertow in a northerly and you can,t hold bottom.Always better in the dark.
I,v had some good bags from there over the years and my best fish from there(15lb Cod) was taken at low water.

Cheers for the replies guys, I suppose every venue has its day when the conditions are right.
i used to fish it many moons ago when you could get on the wall behind the tanks and it was great, is it the dock authority who own/control it ? It would be great if a fishing club could take over it.

Fishes best in a decent south easterly, wasting your time there in small tides IMO

If you arent a decent caster only fish it in the biggest of tides, or save yourself the bother and dont fish it at all haha
