fished hendon prom today, it was overcast and a nice sea running thought it was ideal conditions to pick up a few fish.
got permission off mr tt to fish the 5th bay from the end
had some nice fresh peelers for bait so was very hopeful.
fished 2 hours of the flood and 1 hour into the ebb.
after an hour mrtt pulled in an undersize whiting, but after that not a single bite.
every hook was coming back bare must have been lifting with crabs.
suppose it was better than sitting in the house and twiddling my thumbs , plus mrtt was coming out with his usual wise cracks and tales of woe

its a clean bottom mate just the odd rock here and there never loose any gear at this spot

bad look on the fish but a cracking photo. Made my mind up now to get the rods out tomorrow

yes with a toll gate on the tunnel entrance which is manned by mr.tt
