Wheres gonna be the best spot from the Prom tomorrow night...
Last time I was down there a Guy who was Fishing on the left, 1st Bay a think, sold us down the river, and told us to fish at the other end, right next to the ramp leading down to the little beach.
3 of us blanked...

most of the lads fish down the south end of the prom mate.

Try the first bay if the winds coming from the north west ya might get a bit of shelter from the tanks bit snagy close in.

I would try the middle ramp. Simply because there is no boulders there at the wall lol. Or likee eddie says might be sheltered doon next to the drums.

It's a popular high water shot (biggish tides 2 hours either side, ebb can be better). Tak your car alang tho' (dinna leave it in the car park). Middle steps to South end popular. Tends to be cleaner ground. North end can be canny. It was all a better shot before the cooncil dumped the rock armour.

It can fish like the clappers over low water in the dark (car dilemma!). But mak sure ye can get easily get off. [You can get cut off on the flood before ye knaw where yer are if you venture tooooo far from the steps or ramps]

IMO I'd try sheltered beach or river mouth(s) over bottom tide.

Your reet there like, but it's very tempting. The groyne. Back o' tanks. Old sewer pipe. Lane. Low drum. High drum (long gone). Bartrams beach. The Ramp leading onto the South pier. etc ..... brings back memories. :hallucine:
