Fancy heading over next Saturday and fishing 2 up and 2 down. Was just after some information on it, can you just park right where you fish and is access alright to get down? Does it normally fish well? Just I've seen a good few people write about it on here. Thanks for the help in advance lads.

Sean.

hi mate
yes you can park right where you fish, you can even cast out have forty winks in car then cast again. :)
I was down at 4am this morning stopped till 9am and did not even get a nibble was also about another 6 people fishing and I think they blanked as well.
baits used today were, rag, blacks, maki, crab. rigs were 2 hook and pennel.
was weird as people have been catching there all week, well there is always next week.:)
bays 2- 4 normaly ok clean
I fished at the turning head bit about half way along , bit of mixed ground clean with a few rocks. I even tried from the beach when tide was going out still nowt .

Thanks for the info mate. When your driving along is there just bays like? I thought it was just a straight long promenade lol. Just fancy somewhere different so wanted to have a look up there.

yes its a straight long promenade but about half way along there is a place to turn your car that's where I was, as for the bays there are as if you are facing the sea from promenade.
hope pics explain it better mate

That's absolutely spot on mate. Is it alright to leave the car if I was to go along to the 3rd bay or something? Or is it alright to take the car all the way along and park right next to there and not block the road or anything? Thanks again mate.

Sean.

just drive down past the car park and drive along prom and pull in on the side there is plenty of room for cars and vans to still pass.

Dont bother if its flat mate.

Looking at the forecast for next week it will be far too big for the prom mate

30mph north north esasterlies forecast

What would it be like for fishing on Saturday night? Low water is 10.45pm I think. Does it fish alright low water or is it a 2 up 2 down shot?

Light south easterlies forecast but big tides.

Me personally would rather fish the flood, it will fish over low water but if theres no sea on id go else where

Fished hendon alot southerly winds do fish best but I have had my best fish following the tide down. Some say 2 hours before and after high not always the case low water is a good shot I find first 2 bays nice worm baits. Cod magnet on here does very well with worm baits at range, when I say range I mean 150 to 200yds wind depending but fish do come in close there on a big sea ideally big tide after a big southerly but nice fish do show up in other conditions.
